The Clarkson's celebrated Christmas our traditional way - Christmas morning with Aunt Margaret; afternoon and gifts at Mom's; and night with the Lester's. Our dinner, however, was on 12-26-07 at Mom's house - when most could get together and enjoy Mom's "trendy" half-lit Christmas tree.
With a new camera in tow (thanks to Drew and Mom), lots of pictures were taken! Marisa was there to appreciate the new camera - and to get her Bailey-printed pj's! For pics, click here.

Zbeeb Christmas Eve
The Zbeeb's celebrated Christmas Eve together. We had a great meal at Murphy's in VA Highlands - thanks LARGELY to Mary and Kiki for our Christmas gift certificate for the meal!!! What a terrific surprise.
Then we went back to our house for dessert - Drew and I baked pumpkin pies and pound cake with caramel apple sauce for everyone. We opened gifts and had a great time. Clint and Sarina came over for the festivities, too!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas like us! For more pics, click here.

They see dead people!
If you misssed it, last night A&E premiered a new show, Paranormal State. It's about a Penn State University student, Ryan Buell, who founded the Paranormal Research Society. We were pretty impressed and can't wait for next week's episode. The show airs on Sundays at 10pm. Watch, if you dare!

Happy Birthday Reese!
We celebrated Reese's 33rd birthday this past weekend in good ol' Powder Springs. Alex cooked Italian food - even used Nana's recipe for meatball sauce. Yum! Everything was delicious - especially the 'Better than Sex' cake that completed the night! Enjoy the pics by clicking here.

Thanksgiving in NOLA
We spent Thanksgiving in New Orleans - visiting Dad. Aunt Margaret flew in and cooked an amazing Thanksgiving feast. We all had a great time in the French Quarter and seeing the sights. We missed Mom a great deal, but look forward to a wonderful Christmas home in Atlanta with her. Unfortunately, we also missed a visit from Fr. Andrew and Jane - we heard from Alex and Reese that they had a great Thanksgiving in Atlanta. We can't wait to see all the Zbeebs in Jamaica just after the new year for our next big family affair!!! Chich is coming home... to Georgia!
We are excited to announce that Andrea is coming back to Georgia. She and Victor are making their way to Savannah! After much debate on school, Victor decided to apply and was recently accepted to attend Savannah College of Art and Design. There, he will go after a Masters degree in Industrial Design. Upon hearing the news of Victor's acceptance, Andrea aggresively began looking for work... and she found her dream job! Andrea has been asked to become the General Manager of Yves Delorme, an international manufacturer and retailer of luxury home linen collections. The Savannah store is set to open December 1st, in which Yves Delorme will fly Andrea in regularly until she and Victor move in late December. This is very exciting news for us. We plan to see much more of the Pellegrino newlyweds - and we are so proud of their success! We're even more glad that they will no longer be Floridians! :-)

We're waiting!
Our good friends, Heather and Scott, are expecting their first... babies (plural). Yes, twins! She is 35 weeks - and has been having contractions for a couple weeks now. She's been on medication to help the little ones hang in there (pardon the pun) for a little longer - her doctor hopes she will make it to 36 weeks (next Friday). We are patiently awaiting the arrival of two precious girls. Stay tuned...

Wanna buy a Bungalow?
So, we're a little off our rockers to try to sell in this market - we know! But a month back, we fell in love with another home in Kirkwood (just around the corner from us) and we decided to take a shot a selling our beloved house on Hosea. So, if you know anyone that is looking, send them our way!

If there was ever any doubt...
The Queen rules this castle! Queen Lola, that is. Don't think a 3.5 lb. Maltipoo can reign over a 55 lb. Hound and a 160 lb. Dane??? Take a look at who gets the bone in the end - and to classical music, no less! Turn your volume up.
Try to ignore the poor quality of the video -

Pumpkin Rot... A Problem This Time of Year!
My Mom and I were trying to figure out the best way to keep our newly carved pumpkins from rotting. Of course, when in doubt - google it! I found this site that posts science projects. Click here to find the best way to keep your pumpkins from rotting before Halloween! Unfortunately, for those of you that left yours in the rain, like me, we're already behind!

We are so happy for the Rice Family! We will pray Jocelyn stays healthy and starts counting PA sheep early in life!
Jocelyn Laraine Rice
Born October 11, 2007
8 lbs 10 oz

I have known Andrea since we were babies, ourselves, making her my oldest friend! Now, Andrea and Nathan live in rural Pennsylvania (Amish Town) leading not 1, but 2 Lutheran churches! Check out their blog anytime - Adventures in an Amish Paradise - under our favorite links (to the left)!

Frogs to Dogs = Fun Times
When Andrew decided to leave his corporate job in June, we were both nervous, but incredibly excited about the prospect of him doing "his own thang" full time. Well, turns out, the timing couldn't have been any more perfect. Since June, the growth of Frogs to Dogs has been on an insane upswing. He's hired 2 new pet sitters - and even employed a couple close friends for part-time work. F2D has begun group training classes behind Kirkwood Feed & Seed. We are currently holding our second class and the third begins in late October. Private training continues to be in high demand, as well, since we employ the REAL dog whisperer, Zsolt!
The success of Andrew's business has been a lot of work, but a ton of fun. AND his newfound freedom (from Corporate America) has allowed for many more weekday lunches with his lovely wife! :-)
