Upon our return from Savannah, we made it home just in time to celebrate another June baby - Todd. His birthday included hamburgers, hot dogs, cupcakes, an iPod alarm clock, new clothes, greenery, and family galore! We had a great time.

A Quick Trip to Savannah
We celebrated Andrea and Victor's (and John's and Travis') birthday - many June babies, apparently - over the weekend in Savannah. There was plenty of food and spirits (not for baby, of course) and fun folks to enjoy the good cheer. Take a peak at a few photos.
Another blogger on the books...
A long, long time ago, Dennis Martin escorted me to Miss Lakeside during our senior year. We struck our JC Penney poses and laughed throughout the whole pageant. Dennis was a close friend of mine in high school and I've tried to keep him (and all my friends) posted on my life through this blog. Well, his beautiful wife, Krista, has recently turned to blogging, too, which is great for me so now I can keep dibs on what's going on with them! You can enjoy their site by clicking here - or finding the link on the left hand column of my blog always. :-)

So SICK! I love it!
Todd sent this video clip to me (and to his girlfriend, Marisa, and my mom) - it's great! He tells me:
"Don’t know if you ladies have seen this video but it’s been emailed to me 3 times today! It must be the video of the week on the internet. I wouldn’t get too excited though, it’s not real because we all know girls can’t do that. Ha!"
Well, I did get excited when I watched it - looks pretty damn real to me. Plus, as all of us women know, there are MANY things that men can't do, homey! But women are breaking down barriers one baseball at a time!
Enjoy the video... :-)

Baby Update
We went to the doctor yesterday for our 20 week visit and the doc gave us (mom and baby) a clean bill of health. According to some bloodwork taken a month ago, as well as the ultrasounds taken yesterday - everything looks to be on target for my due date, October 26, and he seems very happy and healthy in there!
Once again, baby boy Zbeeb was all over the place - dancing around the belly. If you look closely at the scan below, you can see his now famous wave (hand just above his head) - he seems to always have his hand up when we take a peak at him. He currently weighs 13 oz, which the ultrasound technician politely told us was slightly on the heavy side for a 20 week baby (just by an ounce or two). All of his measurements came back in the normal range, but one worth noting was his head in the 72 percentile for this far along in the pregnancy. Drew and I laughed - big heads are sure to run in our family!

Look what we've started...
A whole conversion to the blogosphere! Yes, another one bites the dust and converts... the Presley Family Journey now joins us online! We are so happy that we can now keep up-to-date on Marshall, Sloane, Payton, and Elijah - and their farm. :-)
Of course, the Presley blog will be permanently posted on our site on the left hand column under Cool Links.

A HUGE Milestone!
To All You Naysayers
FYI - Scientific American reported last month that blogging may be GOOD FOR YOU! Ha! Research shows there are therapeutic benefits to blogging. To read the full article, click here. So start those blogs, my friends - quite possibly the new saying will be "One blog a day will keep the doctor away!" ;-)

What was once...
a house for newlyweds - is now in the makings of a family home. We hit the 20 week mark in the pregnancy over the weekend, so we are half way there until we meet baby boy Zbeeb. To prepare for his arrival, we are getting the house ready.
What was once our master suite... is now a family room.
What was once a den... is now Andrew's office.
What was once a dining room... still is a dining room -
just roomier with added "crawl" space!
Finally - where is the nursery you ask??? What was once Andrew's office will now be the nursery (still under construction). Nursery reveal to come! :-)
