Happy Halloween

Without the time (or energy), my parents couldn't get me a real COSTUME for my first Halloween, so I had to piece together something myself... Trick or Treat!

Coming home to the dogs...

Lola and Barnibus are super protective and possessive of Asa...

And Dad thinks Asa should go ahead and start working for
Frogs to Dogs...

Been a little busy...

Baby Asa James Zbeeb arrived on October 23rd at 6:34 pm. He was a very healthy 8 lbs 14 oz, 20 in long. Enjoy the hospital pics - more to come when mom and dad have had a chance to "recover" - does that ever really happen?

Lola gets ready for Halloween

This weekend Lola got a haircut - a little too short for her liking, especially since we experienced some true Fall weather over the past couple days and she, consequently, felt a little chilly. So, Lola decided she'd get ready for Halloween a little early this year.

What a gorgeous model she is!

Greek Fest '08

A couple weeks ago, we all went to the Atlanta Greek Festival. We had a great time. Marisa captured some key moments...

Todd and Mom - dancing to keep up with the Greeks!

Another one bites the dust...

I don't blog much about my job (because I like to leave it there), but I managed another huge work event yesterday. Funny, my big Spring event was planned and executed during my first trimester and my big Fall event was planned and executed during my third trimester. I'm sure I was a joy to work with on both occasions! ;-) Just kidding - I haven't been too hormonal during my pregnancy - just dog tired!!! At any rate, this event was for investors looking at our early stage companies. Maybe some of you will remember the game show, "Let's Make a Deal"- what's behind Door number 1, 2, or 3??? That's what I based our event around. It was very successful - esp. with all the jokes we made about our current state of the economy. The best part - it's OVER! Now, I can mentally check out of work... even though I'm technically not out on maternity leave until Monday, 10/27.

The Routan Boom

So, baby Zbeeb wasn't birthed as a part of the "Routan Boom," but Mama sure thinks baby #2 will be! I HATE, HATE, HATE to admit it, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new VW minivan, the Routan. Brooke Shields is campaigning against having children simply for German engineering, but I don't know... our son's first sibling may come along quicker than we know. What else could I do to convince Andrew to buy me this car?!!! :-)

Take a Guess...

To the right are predictions from my co-workers on the baby's arrival date, weight, height, and even name (click on the picture for a closer view)! The jury is still out on all of the above. Make sure to get your delivery date vote in (left), too.

Baby will be here before we know it!

FULL TERM!

As we are 37 weeks along in our pregnancy - we are officially full term! Baby Zbeeb can come any day now. In fact, we're taking votes (to the left) as to his arrival date. If you want in on the action, vote now.

Also, we thought we'd share a slide show of Melissa's belly growth... yikes! It's pretty insane, but we've been taking weekly pictures to see just how much change one's body must go through while pregnant. Take a look.

Check back here for updates over the next few weeks. Of course, the first official baby announcement will be posted as soon as we come home from the hospital (after we've caught some much needed rest, I'm sure).
