Just call me ASA SOPRANO
Well, Asa "The Ace Man" Zbeeb is as good a gangsta name as any, I guess. Asa decided he wanted to try out for the Sopranos this morning. The track suit was a must, but he's missing a gold chain to really get in character!

Leapin' Lizards
We went to Leapin' Lizards yesterday and Asa had a blast! A room full of bouncies... what kid could ask for more? Dad, the big kid, had fun, too. Check out more pics here.

Multiply Delicious!
So, my long-time bud (from way back in elementary school) has seen me through it all - and I, she. First boyfriends, first concerts, first 'bangs' haircut, first loves, true loves... turned into marriages, and even babies... we've been there for each other through thick and thin. Now, I am happy to introduce her to the blogosphere! Meet Heather Connell by way of reading Multiply Delicious! Heather is a proud mom of beautiful twin girls (that have made a few appearances on Zbeeb Zoology). She is also a rock star baker and chef. Coincidentally, she's decided to write about her life - as a mom of multiples and as a kitchen diva! Hope you enjoy it. The link to Heather's blog will always be found on the left-hand column of Zbeeb Zoology.

Don't Call DFCS!
So, Mommy had to get to work a little earlier than normal yesterday and Daddy was in charge of taking Ace to daycare. Dad recently got an awesome big boy carseat for his own car for Asa to use up to 100 lbs.!!! Woohoo - great bargain and another reminder of how much he has grown - and WILL grow! Anyway, Dad knew we were going to turn Mom's carseat around to a forward-facing position once Asa turns 1 year old - in just one month!!! So, Dad figured why go through all the trouble of installing his own carseat in a rear-facing position... might as well just install the darn thing one time - forward-facing - since it is rarely used anyway (typical Andrew thinking - can't figure out if it's efficient or lazy? Hmmm...). To be fair, Dad did ask Mom first!!! :-) Asa is a very big boy and his weight and height are fit for a forward-facing chair, just not his age just yet. So, Daddy risked a ticket yesterday - but he said it was worth it. Asa loved to be forward-facing to see what all was going on outside for a change - not to mention the luxurious inside of the Atlanta Animal Ambulance - and the ability to do his leg exercises!

Our very own Little Rascal
It was pointed out to us today that Asa looks like 'Spanky' from the Little Rascals (thanks, Mark!). We were then sent this link to a video of good ol' Spanky... I hope this rascal behavior isn't in our future! Although, I think we have a new nickname for Acey!
Look who's teething!!!
Asa and Mom went shopping with Aunt Alex and Addie this past weekend. We all had a great time, but Addison was quite fussy - poor girl had a couple teeth coming in... the shopping gods weren't good to her, but she won't be scarred for life. Addie's Mom and Aunties will make sure she recovers into a nice shopaholic!!!
Check out the front two on the bottom -
coming in together! (Click on photo for closer look.)
Acey's front two came in at the same time, too, a while back -
he feels his cousin's pain! Can't you tell?!

No pics from Labor Day Weekend
Unfortunately, we had a sick boy on our hands, which lended itself to no sleeping and no fun! Hence, no pictures! However, Asa is on the mend and we hope to get to the Yellow Daisy Festival this weekend. Check back for more excited times captured on film from the Zbeeb Zoo!

Awesome Asa Moment
This morning I got the privilege to witness my son eating AT THE TABLE with his friends at daycare. This is Asa, Sarah and Caroline (identical twins), and Davis. These are the children that will move up with him next month to the Pre-Toddler class. They really all get along very well and Asa is particularly fond of Sarah (a ladies man, already - ha!). Watching them all eat breakfast AT THE TABLE (can you tell how excited I am?) was awesome! They've all grown up so much over this year. It's been incredible to watch. So glad I captured these pics.
Asa and his main squeeze, Sarah.
(I told him to make sure he picked up the bill -
it will win him some points!
it will win him some points!
Gotta teach him early to be a gentleman!)
