Mountain Man

We went to the Blairsville over the weekend for a visit with cousins Ann and Dan - and also to celebrate Nana's birthday! Our little mountain man went dressed for the occasion in his camo sweats and orange bear shirt. Luckily, there weren't any bear attacks, although Nana thought she spotted some wildlife (that turned out to be just a drain hole in the ground - she's old, we forgive her)! What a wonderful weekend we had - can't wait to go back when its WARM!

More Lexington pics

While I left my camera at home, Marisa carried hers everywhere in Lexington. Here are more fabulous pictures of our trip (mixed in with some of the low resolution ones from my iPhone).

Class Pic

Asa's school did a fundraiser and sold class pictures for $5 each. Of course, like any good parent, I bought one without even taking a look. Good thing for the fundraiser I went into this deal sight unseen. I think they should hire a photographer that instills a little more excitement and energy into the picture taking process next time. This one was clearly BORING to all the kids in PreToddler 2. :-)

Justin's White Wedding

For the first time ever, we went on a trip without a camera... not on purpose, I assure you. Just Mommy brain! I remembered somewhere around Knoxville on the drive up that I forgot the camera. Still, the iPhone provided a decent back up. I hope to get a few of the professional shots from Justin's wedding, but I'm sure that will take some time. Until then, click here for some mobile uploads.

2010 Black Out!

We're going simple in 2010... it's our new motto, actually! We want to minimize the madness (or do our best trying to) and focus on family, friends, and good times this year. We're hoping to get on track with a family move, if we are so blessed, as well as other fun new opportunities that may come our way! Most of all, we hope the new year brings you all happiness. We hope it brings us the same. :-)
