I decided to take on a new venture (in addition to all my old ones, of course). I have become a Sales Consultant for a company called Thirty-One. Thirty-One is a faith based company founded on the principles of Proverbs 31 with a mission to celebrate, encourage, and reward women.
So, how did I get myself into this? Well, about a month ago, my good friend, Sloane, invited me to her house for a shopping party. If there are two words I love - it's "shopping" and "party," so of course, I didn't pass up the opportunity. When I got there, I was overwhelmed with awesomeness! If you know me, you know I'm a bag freak... but even more so, I am an organizational freak! I fell in love immediately with the Thirty-One products. I spent plenty of money that night... and I've since used my products on a DAILY basis!
Ever since that night, I've thought that Thirty-One would be a company I could really get behind. Selling 101 will tell you that to be successful, you must sell what you love. Well, I love Thirty-One! So, I decided (with Drew's support) to just go for it - this week, I became a Thirty-One Sales Consultant.
I know this is out of left field for me - and, honestly, a bit out of my comfort zone. But with a passion for the products, I am excited about this new venture. You'll be hearing more very soon. Until then, check out my web site and peruse the catalog and if you have any interest in hosting a Thirty-One party (see all the potential rewards below - click on the image for a better view), please let me know. Think friend gatherings, work parties, baby showers (or sprinkles), housewarmings, etc. Have a party in August and EVERYTHING is 15% OFF! I'm ready to get started ASAP!

We had visited Cagle's Family Farm over the weekend. Mom scored a good deal on tickets for the tour and we just happened upon some really cool bonuses for the day, including a tractor show, farmer's market, and herding dog demos. All around - a great day! For more pics, click here.

Summer Fun
The summer is flying by... this month, Asa got a balance bike - to teach him balance first, then go straight to peddling (no training wheels) - so goes the theory that we will be testing out! We met a new friend, Taylor Grace, the 8-week-old of Andrew's high school friend, Andrea Eifrid. We played in the water fountain at Piedmont Park's all new Legacy Fountain... now a staple in our weekend plans. And had another hang out session with cuz Miller. Enjoy all of the pics!

As promised, pics of our trip to Elijay and down the Coosawattee River! We had a wonderful time with the Larkin-Kirby fam. It was a nice getaway and made us desperately want to do it more often! For more pics of our mountain adventure, click here.
