The Connell's

The Connell family is doing great - Clair and Laine will be 6 months old at the end of this month. Time flies with one, but soars with two! Mom and Dad, though still a bit sleep deprived, are looking good! The whole fam hopes to make it up late this summer - we can't wait to see them.

1st MAJOR Baby Purchase :-)

Okay - so normally you come here to find updates on the Zbeeb family and our pets. Today, I am deviating from the norm - you are getting a SHOPPING update. If you know me, you know I get real excited about certain purchases - and this one is no exception - it's my 1st major baby purchase and I just had to share it! (Crazy... I know, I'm a Zbeeb!)

Yesterday, I bought the most awesome diaper bag! Yes, diaper bag. How is that major, you ask? This bag rocks! It is top of the line - beautiful leather, gorgeous bronze color, insanely functional with multiple compartments, a changing pad tucked underneath, and the handles even come off and switch around to attach to the baby stroller! Plus, when I'm all done with it being a diaper bag, I get to take the lining out and use it as a carry-on or large purse. I love it - I'm excited - you can laugh, but this was a good buy!!! Yet another pet addition - thankfully, to the EXTENDED family!

On Greek Orthodox Easter (Sunday, 4/27), Reese brought Alex a surprise - a chocolate lab puppy. She is a very young baby at just 7 weeks old, but is already the queen of the castle - well, maybe Alex still takes that title. She is certainly well on her way to being crowned princess. As she was a Greek Easter gift, they have decided to call her, Hera, a Greek goddess and wife of Zeus.

FYI - for those of you who are AVID Zbeeb Zoo readers :-), Annabelle is no longer in the Jones' household. She was a sweet girl, but didn't get along with her potential cousins. We know Hera will make an excellent addition to the extended fam!

Tweak will not be ignored!

We don't usually post about Tweak, but he will not be ignored these days. He sings to us every morning - we haven't needed an alarm for over 6 months now.

Happy 30th & 60th Birthday, Melissa and David!

Yesterday was Melissa's 30th birthday and this Thursday is David's 60th. So, we celebrated with a joint party - and the weather was perfect!

The Hanson's Visit ATL & Introducing Annabelle Jones!

It's been a while since the last blog, but things have been slow at the Zbeeb house. However, what a great past weekend this was... Kiki and Alexander came to Alanta for a visit and Reese and Alex decided to foster a new baby, Annabelle.

Jackson Reese Jones was born Friday, March 14 at 12:15am. He was 8 lbs and 5 oz - and a handsome lil' devil. Can't wait to meet him. Congrats to the Jones' Family!
