Future Grease Monkey

Asa decided to lend our neighbor, Robert, a hand while he worked on the 'Cruiser this weekend. Someone is definitely into cars!

Waterslide at the Park

Normally after a storm we remember to bring a towel to the park so that we can wipe down the wet slides for Asa - so he doesn't come home sopping wet! This morning, we forgot. So, Daddy's butt... or shorts... became the towel. Unexpectedly, we caught a funny "water slide" moment on video. Gotta love the iPhone.

Asa's 1st Play Date

This past weekend, we got to hang out with Asa's buddy, Davis, from school. We were in part having an awesome time with Davis - and in part helping his mom who was home with Davis' brand new little brother, Hayes. Anyway, on to the awesome time - notice how the seesaw was a bit unbalanced with these two, but they were totally in sync all afternoon!

On to Big Boi

Dad sure knows how to make the morning ride much more fun than Mom. Ace has moved on from Jay-Z to Big Boi (featuring Vonnegutt)... he's also trying to master the snap - when he isn't distracted by his teeth! I just love how his Dada tries to help him stay on beat - wow, Ace will never live that one down. Enjoy!

Bye, Bye, Dogs...

Another morning trying to get out of the house and on to school.

Asa at School

Mom's been missing the morning time with the boy, but Dad's been having all the fun. Asa gets to stay home longer and take his precious time with his first breakfast (before school breakfast), then gets dressed and has some playtime before heading off to DHCDC. Once there, Dad hangs out for half hour or so and has his own playtime with the kids. I'm so happy that Ace and Drew get this time together... but I miss it TERRIBLY. So, Drew has been sending me video by mid-morning to make me smile! Just thought I'd pass along the joy...

Impromtu Visit Downtown

There wasn't much to do on Saturday, so we decided to take Ace to The Children's Museum and the water fountains at Centennial Olympic Park. Guess which activity he enjoyed more? And guess which one we paid for versus which one was free? Kids... gotta love that most often they prefer their entertainment free of charge!

More Ark Video

Click here for more fantastic Noah's Ark video that Alex took with her Flip cam. I am pretty sure Asa's got the 'animal gene'!
