What a Wonderful Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day morning got started with blueberry pancakes - mostly smeared all over Asa's face... and hands... and legs... and hair! But what Mother's Day would be fun without blueberries everywhere!

We got up extra early to take a walk up to the park. It was a chilly morning, so we had to take our jackets, but no one else was there, so we had the park ALL to ourselves!

We took the boys --- all the boys: Daddy, Lew-Lew, Barney, and Asa. Of course, the girls came along as well: Mommy and Lola. It was a family affair!

Asa even let Lola in the swing with him - I think partly to keep him warm! But the cool weather didn't stop us from our afternoon fun in the sun plans. After a nap (for the whole crew), we went on to the Radovich's for a Mother's Day pool party.

We were joined by the masses and had a blast. Burgers, hot dogs, and all the side dishes you could dream of... including my favorite dish of the day, Marsha's banana pudding! But the irresistible activity of the day (as much as I would have loved to resisted) was going for a dip in the pool --- the very COOL pool. It wasn't bath water, but we didn't freeze either, so the swim was a success. And the afternoon was tons of fun - just ask Asa and Miller!
