Jim and I wanted to share some pictures and video with everyone, and wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. In all our wildest dreams, we could have never imagined having so much love in our lives. We are in love with Ariana, of course, but we have all this love pouring in for her and us on a daily basis also. We thank you all for opening your hearts to this new normal.
Now, Ariana has rolled over a few times back in early January. She did that the hard way. She tucked her back arm under her hip, brought her knees in and pushed over. But now she is older and wiser. Ari has learned to prop herself up on her elbows very well, and from there she just puts her arm up, and over she goes. Watch her roll!
Ariana has been getting weekly therapy for a few weeks now. They are mostly just working on gross motor skills at this point. Ari was suppose to have a therapy which would include finger-painting with food today, but her therapist was sick. Well, I decided to go ahead and try it out myself. I am not sure of the result. Positively, she did not seem to mind the cold mushiness of the food, but she really had no interest in it. I had to place her hands in the food and then feed her some. She apparently just knows better than to play with her food. That is a good girl, and I appreciate that.
We also went to the doctor's office today for a
vaccine. Well, Ariana is now a staunch 17.4lbs! She is growing so
quickly. She is hardly any longer small, but she is still fierce!
